SAP HANA Cloud will include a managed XOLTP service, based on SAP ASE, and a relational data lake service, based on SAP IQ.
Customers will be able to move existing SAP ASE and SAP IQ landscapes, including SAP Replication Server, into SAP HANA Cloud with compatibility to the current releases.
Customers will benefit from the additional services offered by SAP HANA Cloud – such as data virtualisation or advanced analytics capabilities – through one simple gateway to all their data.
SAP ASE, SAP IQ, and SAP Replication Server are stable and proven products and SAP are delivering the ability to deploy them on multiple hyperscalers. Organizations can choose to maintain their on-premise investment or to utilize the cloud for efficiency and additional services in the multi-cloud SAP HANA Cloud offering.

SAP will soon offer cloud enabled functionality in Sybase ASE or now called SAP ASE. Simply put our team of Sybase experts will initate a discovery phase, create the high level and low level designs for compute & network, initiate a proof of concept in a virtualised environment in the cloud no doubt initally development platforms and assist you with the tools and methodology to migrate Sybase to cloud computing.
